These motors are the same as in our PG27, PG71, and PG188 Gearmotors and are being sold with the intention of replacing the motor without having to purchase the gearbox as well. This motor comes with the pinion gear attached and also includes the 2 mounting screws.

The back of some motors feature an extended back shaft and a 7 PPR hall effect encoder, which can be removed if your application needs the long back shaft.

These motors, without the encoders, are am-2765 and am-2766. Both of these base motors are called out in the FIRST Robotics Competition manual as being legal for use in 2024.

Good Motor if Properly Matched to the Task

This isn't the strongest motor available for FRC, but if you match the motor to the task, it will perform very well in it's power/load range. It worked well when paired with a PG71 gearbox for our Power Cube Dumper mechanism during the 2018 Power UP! competitions.
