This gearbox has a gear ratio of 16:1 with a ½ in. Hex output. A free packet of red tacky grease (am-2768) is included with every gearbox purchased. This grease must be used to coat every internal surface of the gearbox before use.

The Dynamo Sport includes 2x 6-32 screws and a press fit pinion gear specifically for mounting the Dynamo Motor (am-3740). To install this motor, remove the back cover, support the back of the output shaft, and press on the included pinion gear using an arbor press. This press fit ensures a solid mechanical connection between the pinion gear and the motor. This pinion assembly is not susceptible to vibration, and never needs to be checked once installed. All ratios of the Dynamo Sport Gearboxes use a 4:1 input stage, with the same tooth count pinion, so motors and gearboxes can be switched out with ease.
