One of the most confusing things about setting up remote connections for educational robotics control systems is networking. Many different possible configurations can be done depending on your controls and environment, so we need to have some advanced options available but who wants to have to learn advanced networking just to get something going quickly.

This Router solves much of the confusion for quick setup and allows for the most advanced configuration as OpenWrt is pre-installed!

3 ports are available, by default one is used for WAN but with a quick option change you can use all 3 for local LAN ports to expand your robot network.

Basic setup to use as a repeater takes less than 5 mins after power on.

• Connect via wire or Wi-Fi (SSID found on the bottom of router, default password: goodlife)
• Access the web admin panel at http://192.168.8.1
• Select Language and set your admin password
• Your connected and admin panel shows plenty of options and status
• Click "More Settings" then "Advance" for all the advance options of OpenWRT

As a drop-in replacement to the OpenMesh on an FRC robot, it can be used on your practice bot, or just to save your OpenMesh from damage during non-competition use.

• Click "More Settings" then "LAN IP" and change the LAN IP to 10.TE.AM.1 hit apply and done
• Connect your Driver Station laptop to the GL.iNet's SSID and go!
