This neat little gadget mechanically counts hours when it has power. Typically found on farm equipment for timing maintenance schedules, it can be used on robots to gauge how much time your robot has been powered across it's entire life. This can be useful for seeing when certain components fail or wear out, or just keeping track for fun. You might be surprised how many hours you spend with your robot!
This Time-On Meter is compatible with most DC 6-80V powered equipment. The meter cannot reset, if it exceeds the maximum value, it will be cleared automatically. The maximum value is 99,999.9 Hours.
Installation:
The timer comes packaged with a polycarbonate bracket that has 0.5 in. pitch #10 holes compatible with common FRC building systems for easy mounting to your robot. For wiring simply wire the positive and negative leads to a free slot on your PDP/PDH. A 5A fuse is sufficient.
