Compact and tightly coiled, these springs extend to nearly 2 1/2 feet in length to pull objects in a linear direction. Please allow for 1 1/2 coils on the shaft at full extension to hold the spring in place.

Where have you been my whole life?

I decided to give this a try after replicating the Robits-designed extender out of REV parts. This thing is FABULOUS! Never again will I use surgical tubing for a retraction mechanism, this gives a significant amount of pull and it's a CONSTANT force over the full extension! 2.6lbs of force is way more than I initially imagined, it's PERFECT!
