  • Originally designed for a grain elevator to be used for low clearance on holding the conveyor belts on the track, this bolt can be used in many other areas today where maximum clearance is needed and some people call it a Norway bolt. Don't confuse it with a Step Bolt, those were designed to tighten onto steel communication towers.

    Elevator Bolts have a square neck which resists turning when the nut is tightened or removed, and a large head which provides a greater bearing surface for soft materials.
