  • This is a customizable length cable to connect the Power Distribution Panel to a battery on your robot.

    The cable is made of 6 gauge multi-strand wire while the connectors are securely crimped and protected with heat shrink tubing. The cable uses the same wire and crimped connector components as we use on the popular Battery Cable, which use our 6-ton pneumatic crimping tool.

    How to Customize:


    The customer chooses the cable lengths, selecting between 5 in. to 29 in. on the Red Cable drop-down selection menu, and between 12 in. to 36 in. on the Black Cable drop-down selection menu. This defines the length of the wires which will be attached to the SB-50A APP Connector.

    There is a third cable involved, which is the Short Red Cable. The length of this cable will be the calculated difference between the Black Cable and Red Cable, minus 2 in. to leave room for a 120Amp Breaker (not included). The shortest Short Red Cable we make is 5 in. long, the same as am-0699.

    Short Red Cable length = Black Cable length - Red Cable length - 2 in.

    For the entire cable and 120amp breaker assembly to be about the same length, the Red Cable length selected MUST be 7 in. shorter than the Black Cable length. The accuracy of all of these cable lengths will be +/- 1 in..

    Example 1:


    Black Cable selected = 20 in.
    Red Cable selected = 11 in.
    Shipped items:
    1. An assembled Black & Red power cable, with the SB-50A on one end and 1/4 in. diameter crimped ring terminals on the opposite end. The Black Cable is 20 in. long (+/-1") and the Red Cable is 11 in. long (+/-1").
    2. A red cable, with a 1/4 in. diameter crimped ring terminals on each end, 7 in. long (+/-1").

    Example 2:


    Black Cable selected = 12 in.
    Red Cable selected = 9 in.
    Shipped items:
    1. An assembled Black & Red power cable, with the SB-50A on one end and 1/4 in. diameter crimped ring terminals on the opposite end. The Black Cable is 12 in. long (+/-1") and the Red Cable is 9 in. long (+/-1").
    2. A red cable, with a 1/4 in. diameter crimped ring terminals on each end, 5 in. long (+/-1").
