  • Retaining rings are used to hold components onto a shaft when installed. The ring is opened using Retaining Ring Pliers (am-4013) and released into a groove on a shaft. The retaining ring then prevents components from moving past it. This retaining ring fits on a groove for 0.75 in. diameter shafts. Within AndyMark products, this fastener is used to hold the FlexHub into gears and sprockets with 3/4 in. hex bore.
