KitBot 2025 REEFSCAPE℠

This kit is equivalent to the FRC Kit of Parts KitBot. In conjunction with an AM14U6 drive train, and one additional motor controller, these items can create a robot that can play some aspects of REEFSCAPE℠. It’s also been designed so teams can build the KitBot and then further iterate on it to add additional features if they choose. Teams will still need basic power tools (drills, saws, etc.) in order to build this robot.

Options include either pre-drilled box tubing or plain box tubing for the creation of the robot structure.

Note: Our kit uses a modified plate design to accommodate off the shelf pulleys with a 24 to 42 tooth belt spacing.

Resources that will be made available by FIRST include:

• Build instructions for the KitBot with photos
• Basic code to operate the KitBot as designed in LabVIEW, Java, C++, and Python
  • Software guide for each language exploring the code and possible controls modifications
• CAD drawings of the KitBot
• A guide to describe the process of adding or improving the functionality of the KitBot
