  • This is a kit of loose components to get you from the start line to finish line on at least three of your projects. Powerpoles PP45 housings in white black and red at a whopping 100 count of each and 300 contacts are included in this bundle.

    The contacts are rated for 45 amps, and sized for 10-12 gauge wire. We recommend am-4202 as the perfect crimp tool for making cables.

Harder than I expected to use.

The metal channel piece is very difficult to crimp. I started changing everything to power pole but after throwing away six crimps because the wires just fall out of them or the metal breaks or it can't fit the plastic housing or once it is in the connections are loose and unreliable. I just thew them in a drawer, maybe the smaller ones that don'y use a U channel setup are easier and more reliable. Maybe it takes a special tool I don't know about or just a lot of practice.

Please use am-4202 Powerpole Crimp Tool for easy crimping of these contacts.
