It's a bearing!! It turns freely and smoothly like a bearing should. And, it's made of METAL. I paid more for the shipping than I did for the bearing. Because of Covid and weather issues, this bearing was stuck somewhere and I did not get it for several weeks. However, I finally got my bearing! I know where I am going now.

Bearing when bad in wind mill and I replaced it with this 3/8' ID shielded bearing and it is back in business again.
