8 mm to 1/2 in Grid Gusset

This Plate can be used to easily integrate the 8mm grid hole pattern commonly found in FTC with the 0.5 inch pitch Robits hole pattern. Use this to easily mount Robits components to other common FTC build systems and vice-versa.

When using this gusset we recommend using them in pairs.

Typical Method Converting to Robits

1. Align one gusset on existing structure component and fasten it using the M4 holes.
2. Attach your Robits components to the gusset using the #10 holes.
3. Attach a second conversion gusset to the Robits component using the #10 holes.
4. Align the second gusset to the existing structure component and fasten it using the M4 slots.

Depending on the design, some #10 screw spacers can be used between the Robits components and the conversion gusset to provide adequate alignment when converting in a direction perpendicular to the gusset.
