  • Sometimes, you just need a winch! Our Afterburner Winch Kit mounts easily to the Rocketbox PTO to provide an additional 15:24 reduction and a ~1.5in. winch drum for your robot's needs. This winch bolts onto the the RocketBox and interfaces with the Mechanism Output Shaft of the gearbox via a sprocket and chain reduction to provide a winching solution for various mechanisms. This winch also features an integrated lock-out plate and cylinder to create a locking, non-backdrivable winch solution. This allows your robot to save weight by using your drive motors for high-load tasks like retracting a climber or cocking back a shooter in situations where you don't need to drive at the same time. You can also pop in 2 hex bearings and drive the input sprocket with any hex shaft.
    This new kit features the 4 tooth dog found in the EVO with a new 4 tooth lockout plate, as well as a pre-made chain loop so that this is as fully assembled as possible letting you hit the ground running as soon as you open the box.
