  • This bundle features our popular AM14U5 Drive Base paired with our 6 in. SR Mecanum Wheels. This chassis configuration is perfect in applications that require sideways translation of a mobile platform, while maintaining traditional skid-steer movement ability. This configuration is a solid foundation for building highly maneuverable mobile robotics platforms for relatively smooth driving environments. This drive configuration is powered by Toughbox Micro gearboxes. These are directly connected to the 6 in. wheels that complete this chassis. This product ships as an un-assembled kit, and does not include motors.

Good job Andy-Mark. Built and driving at home

Followed the instructions, added an electronic control system and I m programming the roboRio with Labview to operate.
So far running at home with no issues. Other than needing to cut 2 - 24.25 churros down a few inches, the kit went together
like clockwork. Looking forward to using as a test bed for the future.
