  • The lead screw is made from high strength 4140 steel.
    The bronze nut rides smoothly over the lead screw threads, and has its own threads on the outside diameter in order to be mounted into a tube, shaft, or housing. This pair is useful in many robotic applications to turn rotational motion from a motor into linear motion as the nut travels the length of the lead screw.

    These PowerAC™ Inch Acme screws and nuts include a centralizing thread form to prevent wedging and binding. When compared to general-purpose thread forms, centralizing threads are manufactured with tighter tolerances and reduced clearance on the major diameter to increase precision and reduce issues.
