    Robits is a new AndyMark building system for FIRST Tech Challenge teams, designed with accessibility in mind. Robits encourages rapid iteration and promotes development of critical thinking and problem solving.

    The Robits system is designed to reduce complexity and enable robust builds. Parts align to a common 1/2 in. grid simplifying construction and allowing alignment of both structure and motion components. Optimized resolution of components simplifies the system while allowing teams to always have the parts they need to complete a build.

    Robits is an excellent cross-program system utilizing many common features and components FIRST Robotics Competition teams have grown to prefer.

    The Robits INTO THE DEEP℠ Robot was designed to be built only using the Robits Core Kit, just add a control system! It can reliably acquire game pieces, score Samples and Specimens, and ascend. Its architecture has plenty of flexibility to iterate and tune the design to each team's needs.

    This kit does not include any control system components (battery, charger, switch, controller, etc).

    **Note**

    Teams should note the maximum extension rules in the Competition Manual. This robot has the potential to exceed the horizontal limits during gameplay. Be sure to investigate software limits (similar to example code posted below) to keep your robot in compliance.
