Spiral Flute Step Drill, 7/8 and 1-1/8

Step Drills are wonderful tools for making a small hole bigger. Unlike using a huge drill bit, step drills don't require nearly as much torque or cutting pressure as the steps mean you aren't trying to cut one huge chip. This particular step drill does have a standard twist drill point so you can use this to start holes as well.

This drill bit is coated with aluminum titanium nitride and is great for drilling steel, aluminum, wood, and plastic. It is rated for use with standard drills and impact drivers, and has spiral dual flutes for quick drilling.
