Overheat is an understatement

We have three of these radios. To suggest they get hot is an understatement. How this became the default radio is perplexing. The only way we can use them is to configure the one in the robot in bridge mode and attach the laptop directly via ethernet to a second radio. Even then, the radios get really really hot. So much so, it will overheat if we don't have a fan blowing on the one attached to the laptop. It becomes so hot that you almost cannot hold it in your hand.

DO NOT USE for practice

If you try use this radio for at home practice it will overheat and lose signal. The website for Vivid hosting says to not leave it on for more than the time of one frc match. This is an absurd limitation for a radio that costs more than double price of the model it is replacing. Only use for competitions.
