  • This assembly eliminates the difficulty of the past by providing a robust power transmission option with an assortment of easy to use mounting features. This system is designed to natively accept one of our Programmable Servos or NeveRest Gearmotors giving you plenty of flexibility on speed/torque options. Due to the input mounting locations, multiple motors or servos (up to 8!) can be added to increase the load this turntable can move. The turret gear when paired with the included input gear creates a 4 to 1 reduction. When used with one of our 5-turn servos, this gives over a full rotation of travel. The added gear reduction can also be a great way to create a higher ratio for arm joints. Finally, the large hole in the mounting plate is great for allowing components to pass through the center.

    • 1 - 5mm Hex Servo Hub (am-5439)
    Motor Drive Components
    • 1 - NeveRest Hex Motor or

    • 1 - 6mm D to 375IN Hex Adapter (am-3444)

    Use the above components to add power transmission to the Turntable mechanism. There are examples of power transmission assemblies in the CAD Files at the bottom of this page.

Awesome product, integrates well with other systems

We ordered 2 of these turntables to use with servos. They were very quick and easy to assemble, and work well with our Rev and GoBilda u-channel. We’re using the servo to operate, and while it didn’t look like the servo’s center lined up, both turntables work with the servo AND gear attached exactly as instructed. The gear applies a good deal of tension in the recommended placement, and turns the device perfectly in either horizontal or vertical allignment.
